Declan & Leah make beautifully crafted kids furniture from their own workshop, beds, bunk beds, storage, desks and playroom pieces, built to last and designed to grow with a family. They needed an online store that did the furniture justice and brought in orders from across the country.
We built a full e-commerce store on WordPress and WooCommerce, designed around how parents actually shop: by room, by product type, and by what is on sale. The catalogue is organised into clear collections, beds, bunk beds, tables and chairs, storage and play, with a shop-by-room path and FAQs that answer the lead-time and delivery questions before they land in the inbox.
The whole experience was built mobile-first, with a checkout that works properly on a phone and a warm, uncluttered look that lets the furniture do the talking.
The SEO thinking: search was part of the build, not an afterthought. Clean page structure, proper page titles and meta descriptions, image SEO across a very visual catalogue, and a fast site that indexes cleanly from day one. We also run ongoing monthly SEO with Declan & Leah, targeting the searches their customers actually use, with a content plan that keeps the store climbing rather than stalling after launch.
The outcome: a store that looks the part, shops easily on any device, and has search built into its foundations, ready to grow as the range grows.
Part of the plan: the store launch was the start, not the finish. We work with Declan & Leah month to month on SEO and a content plan, so the site keeps climbing and the range keeps growing, all part of one continuing partnership.
